Keeping It Real Together Summer Booster Session

Keeping It Real Together presents our Summer Booster Session for teachers who have been trained in the "It's Your Game... Keep It Real!" (IYG) curricululm and are at an IYG program participating school. We invite you to participate in this professional development opportunity to increase your knowledge and learn techniques to help young people as you implement the curriculum in your classroom.

For your participation in the booster session, you will be compensated $150. Prizes and other goodies will be provided during the event.

To qualify for your compensation, you MUST attend the entire booster session. Lunch and parking will be provided. Please make sure to arrive early to check-in the day of the event.

Booster Session Topics: Trauma-Informed Approach to Sexual Health Education & LGBTQ Inclusivity

As we discover the scope and impact of childhood trauma, it becomes even more important that we as teachers use trauma-informed practices to ensure that we are supporting our youth.

This booster session will present a range of trauma-informed facilitation techniques, and help teachers develop a strategy to implement them in their existing instruction.
